The Key Place Church's "Fueling Hope" Outreach Assists Approximately 100 Families

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — On Saturday, August 1, 2026, The Key Place Church demonstrated the love of Christ in action through its Fueling Hope community outreach, serving approximately 100 families with free gasoline and prayer.

The event was designed to ease the financial burden many families face while providing an opportunity to share hope, encouragement, and the message of Jesus Christ. Volunteers from The Key Place Church greeted participants with kindness, prayed with those who desired prayer, and reminded each person that they are loved by God and valued by their community.

"Fueling Hope is about more than putting gas in a vehicle," said Pastor Francho and Pastor Alicia Redes. "It's about reminding people that God sees them, cares for them, and has not forgotten them. We want every person who comes through to leave with more than a full tank—we want them to leave with hope."

Throughout the event, church members worked together to welcome guests, direct traffic, pray with families, and distribute fuel in an organized and caring environment. The outreach reflected The Key Place Church's commitment to meeting both practical and spiritual needs within the St. Joseph community.

The church extends its sincere gratitude to every volunteer, donor, and community partner whose generosity made the event possible. Their support allowed approximately 80 families to experience the love of Christ in a tangible way.

The Key Place Church remains committed to serving the St. Joseph community through ongoing outreach, discipleship, and ministries that demonstrate God's love. Additional community events are planned throughout the year as the church continues its mission of helping people encounter God, grow in faith, and impact their community with the love of Christ.

The Key Place Church is located at 6002 S. 9th Street, St. Joseph, MO, where the mission is "Where Faith Opens Every Door."
